UAX150 Range: 230vThe UAX150 range of 150mm (6") kitchen fans comprises quiet, efficient, axial flow fans for wall, ceiling or window mounting. Designed for easy installation, attractively styled in high gloss ABS thermoplastics for modern appearance and ease of cleaning and incorporating the latest technology and design.

The UAX150 series is ideally suited for domestic kitchen applications.

Construction

These fans are moulded in impact resistant high gloss ABS thermoplastics for strength, durability and finish.

Electrical

220-230v ~ A.C. 50Hz Single phase consuming 20 watts. These fans are double insulated and do not require an earth. All wiring must comply with current IEE regulations. A double pole isolating switch, having a contact separation of at least 3mm in all poles, must be used with a 3 amp fuse fitted. The fan should be mounted a minimum of 1.75 metres from the floor and less than 400mm from the ceiling.

Do not install the fan above a heat source. e.g. cooker, radiator

Motor

Single phase induction motor with pre-oiled bearings fitted for a long maintenance free life and protected by a thermal fuse.

Guarantee

Two year no quibble guarantee.

Installation

The fans are designed to be wall, window or ceiling mounted. Kits available on request.

Wall kits comprise a wall sleeve (275mm long) and a gravity grille (white, terracotta, stone, grey or brown).

Window kits comprise an external white gravity grille and internal fixing plate.

Ceiling kits comprise 3m of 150mm flexible ducting and an external fixed grille (colours to suit).

When installing through a wall or ceiling a 162mm hole is required, through a window a 175mm hole.

INSTALLATION NOTE:
For standard installation through a wall, we recommend a 162mm dia hole.
For special installations through a wall using an Internal Cowle system (IC100), we recommend a 162mm dia hole.
For standard installation through a window, we recommend a 182mm dia hole.
Suitable core drills (162mm) are available separately from FERROB LTD
