The Aridair range of units has been developed to eliminate moisture from the home by a constant circulation of gently pressurized clean air. Mounted either in the loft area of a house or a hallway cupboard or a flat, the gentle pressurization of the property expels any stale, humid air through natural ventilation points which are present in even the most insulated buildings. The Aridair S 2000 LW - for mounting in a loft area. The unit has a manually-operated switch which runs the unit either on slow speed, fast speed or turns the unit off. The Aridair S 2000 NI – for mounting in a loft area. The unit runs continuously on slow speed with an automatic summer / winter cut-out. The Aridair Micro 2000 - for a loft area is supplied with Ferrob's unique self-cleaning humidity sensor. This sensor unit can be mounted in the kitchen to continually monitor the level of humidity in the air. The unit runs continuously on slow speed and when the sensor detects a level of humidity above the switch-on
point (65% RH), the unit is switched to fast speed.
Once the level has fallen below the pre-set level, the unit will revert to running on trickle speed. Up to 4 humidity sensors can be fitted around the home all connected back to the main unit to ensure total control. The sensor unit also has an automatic summer / winter cut-out which means the unit will not run on trickle speed if the loft temperature is above 25 deg C in the summer or 5 deg C in the winter. However, the sensor will still run the unit in fast speed when the switch-on point is reached. |

Filters are fitted to all units to remove dust and dirt particles and prevent them from entering the home.
The air is delivered to the property either through a centrally located inlet grille mounted on the landing or hallway ceiling for the loft-mounted units or wall grille for the cupboard-mounted unit.
